How Do Bat Warranties Work?
All Warranties go directly through the Bat Manufacturer not through Diamond Sport Gear. Once a wrapper is off of a bat we cannot take it back.
How Do Warranties Work? What do I need?
- You will need Valid proof of purchase or a copy of your receipt from an Authorized dealer (We are an Authorized Dealer for every brand we carry).
- IMPORTANT NOTE: 3rd Party Sellers are NOT Authorized Dealers! This Includes Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Facebook, etc. If you are ever in question you can contact the Manufacturer of the model you are looking at and verify that the dealer you are wanting to buy from is in fact an Authorized Dealer.
- You have 1 year from date of purchase (not when you begin using the bat)
- Warranties is 1 Year, 1 Bat. Meaning you get one replacement within the year and the one you get will be stamped "No Warranty" or "No Replacement". Some manufacturers may replace bats more than once with extenuating circumstances, but they do not have to.
Where do I go to Start a Warranty Claim?

Easton
Easton prides itself on the quality and performance of its products, which meet, and often exceed, industry quality and durability criteria or guidelines. However, all materials are subject to fatigue and possible breakdown over time. Easton’s limited bat warranty is as follows:
WHAT BATS ARE COVERED
For the periods specified below from the date of original purchase, Easton will warrant the following bats against defects in materials or workmanship:
- Composite and Aluminum bats 1 year
- Hybrid and “Comp”-model Wood bats 90 days
WHAT BATS ARE EXCLUDED
- All Senior Softball and all wood bats do not have a warranty.
This warranty is limited to one bat per original purchase and can be redeemed only by the original purchaser. Bats under this warranty will only be repaired or replaced once under warranty.
This warranty applies only to defects in materials and workmanship and does not apply to any representations of bat weight or size. For more information about bat weights and sizes, see “Bat Weight and Sizes” on Easton.com.
SUBMITTING A WARRANTY CLAIM FOR BATS PURCHASED IN THE U.S. AND CANADA (For bats purchased outside of the U.S. and Canada, see below)
In order for Easton to process your warranty claim:
- Do not return the bat to your sporting goods dealer!
- Go to https://www.rawlings.com/support-warranty.html to fill out a bat warranty submission form to receive a return authorization number and instructions on how to return your bat.
- The defective bat must be accompanied by the ORIGINAL RECEIPT (proof of purchase) and, if applicable, the MATCHING HOLOGRAM STICKER (hologram stickers are applied to all composite bats and all performance aluminum bats). Bats returned for warranty without proof of purchase (or hologram sticker, if applicable) will not be eligible for warranty coverage.
- THE HOLOGRAM STICKER (if applicable) MUST MATCH THE HOLOGRAM THAT IS PERMANENTLY AFFIXED TO THE HANDLE/TAPER AREA OF THE BAT.
NOTE: The bat must have been purchased from an authorized Easton dealer (Warranty does not apply to bats purchased from non-authorized third parties, including but not limited to sellers operating on third-party auction sites unless those sellers are authorized Easton dealers. To obtain warranty coverage, please select your retailers carefully and make sure your retailer is an authorized Easton dealer). If you are unsure if a particular retailer is an authorized Easton dealer, please contact customer service at 800-6EASTON.
- If Easton determines that the bat is eligible for warranty coverage, it will be repaired or replaced by a bat of equal value.
NOTE: If Easton determines a replacement bat is appropriate, Easton will only provide replacement bats:
- for use within the same sport (i.e., returned baseball bats that are accepted for warranty return will be replaced with a baseball bat, fast pitch for fast pitch, etc.) and;
- for the same certification type/standard as the returned bat (i.e., returned bats approved for use in the USSSA that are accepted for warranty return will be replaced with a USSSA-approved bat, ASA-approved bats for ASA-approved bats, USA Baseball-approved bats for USA Baseball-approved bats, etc.)
- If Easton deems that the bat is ineligible for warranty coverage, the bat will be returned to you with notice of explanation.
NOTE: Warranty coverage will be determined exclusively by Easton. Easton cannot guarantee warranty coverage of your product until it is inspected and determined to be warranty eligible. Once received, if Easton determines that the product is eligible for warranty coverage, a repaired or replacement product will be shipped via Ground Delivery within a reasonable amount of time. Easton reserves the right to substitute similar product if necessary. The decision to replace a defective bat with a repaired or replacement bat, including a substitute model, is within the sole discretion of Easton.
CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT RECOVERABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY FOR THIS PRODUCT AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration; Class Action Waiver. In the interest of resolving disputes between you and Easton in the most expedient and cost effective manner, you and Easton agree that any and all disputes arising in connection with this product will be resolved by binding arbitration. Arbitration is more informal than a lawsuit in court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury, may allow for more limited discovery than in court, and can be subject to very limited review by courts. Arbitrators can award the same damages and relief that a court can award. Our agreement to arbitrate disputes includes, but is not limited to, all claims arising out of or relating to any aspect this product, whether based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation or any other legal theory, and regardless of when the claims arise. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, BY ENTERING INTO THESE TERMS, YOU AND EASTON ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
PROPER BAT CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS
This is a high performance product, designed to deliver maximum performance within the limits of the association rules. In order to deliver peak performance, this bat is not indestructible. In fact, its useful life is partly determined by the number of hard hits it takes over its lifetime. For this reason, this bat is designed with the intent of individual use. It is not designed or intended to be used as a team bat by multiple players or as a “loaner” bat at a commercial facility.
To extend the useful life of your bat, Easton suggests the following:
- Use with leather covered balls only
- Limit the bat to your individual use only
- Rotate the bat ¼ turn each at-bat
To clean your bat, use only mild soap and water.
WARNING: Hitting metal cleats, rocks, or anything other than a ball can damage your bat, cause injury to you or others, and will void the warranty.
WARNING: While composite bats are more durable than wood bats, composite bats also can break, so use care. Further, deep scratches, nicks or dents can cause these bats to break at any time. Metal and/or composite bats should be replaced approximately every two years assuming normal usage. Breakage can cause injury to the batter, and to other players and to spectators. Inspect your bat regularly for cracks, nicks, dents, surface damage or excessive wear and replace the bat as needed. DO NOT USE BAT IF EXCESSIVELY WORN OR DAMAGED.
WARNING: Avoid using your bat in cold weather. Temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius) significantly increase the hardness of the ball.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- Normal wear and tear
- Bats that have been abused, altered or mistreated
- Bats that have been used to hit cage balls
- Bats that have been used in temperatures under 60°F (15°C)
- Bats purchased from non-authorized Easton dealers or individuals
- Bats purchased at auction, or on auction websites (unless sellers are authorized Easton dealers)
- Grip replacements
- Bats that have been used with weighted training balls
- Bats that have been transferred from the original purchaser
- Bats used as team bats by multiple players
- Bats used as commercial bats (for example, “loaner” bats at commercial batting cages)
- Box or shipping return label
- Any cost for the return of warranty claim
-
Easton does not approve of or authorize the purchaser to physically alter the bat in any manner whatsoever. Alteration includes, but is not limited to: bat “doctoring,” rolling in a vice, hitting objects other than approved balls, inner wall shaving, end-loading, and any other action that is designed to change the character or performance attributes of the bat. Any suspected alteration of the bat will nullify the Easton Limited Warranty.

NON-WOOD BAT CARE INSTRUCTIONS
This bat requires special care, as it is engineered with thin walls designed to enhance performance. Be aware that your bat is susceptible to damage in cold weather (under 60°F), which significantly increases ball hardness. High compression balls may also shorten the life of your bat, as well as team usage situations. Do not hit the bat against metal cleats, rocks or anything other than regulation game balls as this will damage your bat and void your warranty. Use only mild dish soap and water for cleaning. DO NOT use solvents or any ammonia-based products.
What to Do If You Are Not Satisfied With Service
If you feel Louisville Slugger has not met its obligations under this warranty, you may attempt to resolve the issue informally with Louisville Slugger. If you are unable to resolve the issue informally and wish to file a formal claim against Louisville Slugger, and if you are a resident of the United States, you must submit your claim to binding arbitration according to the procedures described below, unless an exception applies. Submitting a claim to binding arbitration means that you do not have the right to have your claim heard by a judge or jury, either individually or a part of a class of consumers. Axe Bat
Our commitment to making the world’s best bat for your swing includes an obsession with quality. We have high expectations for our products and make every effort to design and manufacture bats that surpass our rigorous standards of performance and durability. However, we also know that manufacturing defects, while rare, do sometimes occur and that all materials can be susceptible to breakage.
BAT WARRANTY
Axe Bat offers a one-year, limited bat warranty, which covers a one-time replacement from date of purchase on certain current-year bats where a manufacturing defect resulted -- through normal field use -- in severe denting, cracking, breaking, or detachment of end cap or components. Certain products, like composite wood bats and training bats, carry a 120-day limited bat warranty. Our Pro-Fit wood models carry a 30-day limited bat warranty. Please check the warranty card on your bat for warranty term information. The product must be purchased within the U.S. and must be from an authorized Axe Bat dealer. Closeout bats, Senior Softball and wood bats (other than Pro-Fit models) are final-sale only and not covered by any type of warranty.
In addition, this warranty does not cover:
- Bats that have been abused, altered in any way or mistreated.
- Bats that have been used in a commercial batting cage.
- Bats purchased at auction or on auction websites; used bats purchased from re-sellers.
- Bats that have been used in temperatures under 60° F/15° C.
- Bats purchased from non-authorized Axe Bat dealers or individuals.
- Bats purchased from outside the US
- Grip replacement; graphics, paint, decals or stickers.
- Underload Speed Trainer bats that have been hit with pitches exceeding soft toss speeds.
- Senior softball bats and wood bats that do not explicitly include a warranty
In order to qualify for this warranty, the bat must be used exclusively for the described purpose; i.e., softball bats for softball, youth baseball bats for youth baseball, etc. Axe Bat does not approve of or authorize the purchaser, or any other person, to physically alter the bat in any manner for any use. Such alterations void the warranty and potentially violate Axe Bat’s patents and other intellectual property. Alteration includes, but is not limited to: rolling a bat in a vice, hitting foreign objects other than the proper balls, inner wall shaving, end-loading the bat, or any other “bat doctoring” that is designed to change the character or performance of the bat in any way. Suspected alteration of the bat will nullify the warranty.
Warranty Limitation & Exclusion:
It is hereby agreed that the liability of Axe Bat shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the nonconforming product as provided above. Use of bats is inherently dangerous and Axe Bat and its employees, officers, directors and suppliers shall not be liable for any other damages, direct, indirect or consequential.
Axe Bat reserves the right to refuse warranty service to any person(s) who our Warranty Department deems as abusing our products or warranty policy.

3. The bat broke as a result of a manufacturer’s defect during normal use.
Victus Warranty covers manufacturer’s defects resulting from normal use including:
• Cracking
• Severe denting (Note: Minor flat spots & small indentations are normal under certain instances and will be reviewed by our professional staff to assess if such damage warrants a replacement)
• Detached endcaps or knobs
• Loose particles inside of barrels
Proper Bat Care Guidelines
Victus bats are high-performance products. The lifespan of these high-performance products depends on the amount of use and care given to each bat. We suggest the following for proper care and use:
• Bats are used with leather covered baseballs and softballs only. Using weighted or non-traditional baseballs or softballs can and will damage certain bats voiding any warranty.
• Bats should be for personal use only. Bats used by multiple participants can and will decrease the lifespan of the bat.
• Bats should not be used in weather resulting in temperatures below 60°F (15°C). Temperatures below this range make balls harder than normal and therefore can increase damage to bats.
• Throwing of bats or hitting of bats against objects such as cleats, rocks, or anything besides leather covered balls will damage bats and decrease its lifespan. This can also cause premature damage to the bat resulting in an increase in damage potential.
• To clean your bats, use water and mild soap. Do not use any type of chemicals for cleaning as they can damage the finish, cosmetics, and integrity of certain components.
Victus Warranty does not cover:
• Bats that have been abused, altered, or mistreated due to improper care, accidents, misuse, overuse or negligence
• Bats that have been used in commercial batting cages
• Bats that have been used in temperatures below 60°F(15°C)
• Bats purchased from non-authorized Victus Dealers
• Bats not submitted by the original purchaser
• Clearance bats priced/bought under $50
• Bats that have been hit by objects other than leather covered baseballs such as cleats and/or rocks. If marks on bats submitted match that of cleats and/or rocks, warranty will be void and will be
considered “abused”
• Grips, decals, or stickers
Note: Our warranty is not transferable and does not cover grips, abuse, misuse, bats used in commercial cages, altered bats or any bat that has been damaged due to improper care, accidents, misuse, overuse or negligence.
Requirement of Tender: As a condition of any warranty claim, the bat and a valid receipt from an authorized Victus dealer are tendered to Victus at the address listed below. Warranties will not be honored unless the bat and receipt are tendered. All products returned under warranty will be reviewed by our qualified staff. If it is determined that your bat is covered under warranty, Victus will send you either a repaired or replacement bat of the same model and size. We reserve the right to perform testing to determine if the bat meets warranty requirements and/or to refuse warranty service to any person who, in the judgment of Victus, abuses the Victus product and/or warranty policy. Victus also reserves the right to substitute a similar product as a replacement, if necessary.
PLEASE DO NOT RETURN YOUR BAT TO A RETAILER
(Manufacturer’s Warranty)
BBCOR and Other Certifications: Any marking, graphic or sticker applied to a Victus bat indicating that it is BBCOR certified or compliant or that the bat has obtained some other certification or approval from a third party shall only constitute a representation that the bat was so certified or approved at the time of purchase and not at any later time.
Should a bat that was certified or approved at the time of purchase subsequently lose that certification or approval, Victus may or may not, at its sole option, develop a program for retrofitting, repairing or replacing
the bat and/or providing a voucher to be applied toward purchases of Victus products. In such cases, the remedies provided under the program shall be the sole and exclusive remedies available to affected bat owners.
Dispute Resolution: In the event that any dispute regarding any condition of a Victus bat or any warranty claim cannot be resolved, purchaser and Victus agree that the dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and that Louisiana law shall be applicable to the resolution of the dispute.
Notes: Bats returned without Original Proof of Purchase will not be warrantied.

Softball Gloves Warranty
There is a 1-year warranty on all softball gloves. Our warranty does not cover gloves that have been microwaved, placed in an oven, or over oiled.
Warstic
Metal Bats
All metal bats (both baseball and fastpitch) come with a one-time replacement during a nine (9) month warranty period from date of purchase. Our factory warranty covers only major denting from normal use occurring nine months from the date of purchase and/or structural cracking from normal use for nine months from the date of purchase. Our factory warranty does not cover grip replacement, paint chipping, cosmetic blemishes, improper care, overuse, and/or abuse/misuse of the bat(s). Use of anything other than regulation baseballs (i.e. cage/high compression balls) will shorten the life of your bat, and can be classified as misuse in filing a warranty claim.
Warranty claims made on limited edition/small batch release bats will be replaced with the comparable model if the original style/size purchased is no longer available. This is due to the finite inventory on the limited edition/small batch release bats, once that style/size is sold out, that's it.
Warranty claims made on metal bat purchases that were permanently marked down/purchased from the Warehouse Clearance section of Warstic.com are only eligible for store credit. The purchase price of the original bat will be applied to the replacement and we will send you a link to pay the difference. Warranty claims made on bats not purchased directly from Warstic require proof of purchase. Bats purchased on clearance from select third-party retailers are ineligible for warranty claims. Use the form below to contact us if you have any questions about your bats eligibility for a claim.
We reserve the right to refuse warranty service to any person who does not follow recommended product use and care or does not adhere to our warranty policy. We reserve the right to perform all necessary testing to determine if a bat meets warranty requirements and will either repair or replace the bat(s) at our discretion.
Please CLICK HERE to begin the warranty claim process.
Once the bat is returned, it becomes property of Warstic and cannot be returned to the customer as it may require further testing for manufacturing defects.
Warranty applies for individual bat use only; warranty does not apply to a bat with multiple users and/or used as a team bat. Each bat is eligible for one warranty claim replacement. Our warranty policy does not apply to replacement bats received as a warranty claim.
No warrantes will be offered without a receipt or proof of purchase.
Warranty does not transfer from original purchaser, as we have no way of assessing the condition of the bat when it is purchased second-hand. Purchases made from third-party auction sites or bats not purchased from an authorized dealer are not eligible for a warranty.
Wood Bats
30 Day Limited Warranty on Pro Prime Wood Bats
This policy only applies to Warstic Wood bats, made using our Pro Prime Wood (designated by an ink dot on the handle), either custom or stock. If in the first 30 days of normal usage you experience an issue with your bat, we will issue a one-time replacement. To file a claim, use the form at the bottom of the page. Only the original purchaser is eligible for the warranty and claims made on a bat made from a 3rd party retailer must provide proof of purchase. Custom bat replacements will be remade per the original order at Standard Production speed (16-28 business days).
Each Warstic wood bat is checked for cracks, dents, blemishes, and significant grain lines where a split might occur before being shipped to each customer. For this reason, and due to the nature of the game, there is no warranty offered on wood bats.
Occasionally, breaks may still occur as a result of mis-hits and/or misuse. Mis-hits and/or misuse include, but are not limited to:
- making contact outside of the sweet spot
- making contact on the incorrect side of the bat for that type of wood
- hitting anything other than regulation baseballs (including cage/high compression balls)
- slamming the bat on any surface
If you feel your bat broke as a result of a manufacturing defect, and not as a result of the mis-hit and/or misuse examples listed above, please CONTACT US to begin the review process.
If, after inspection, we determine your bat is eligible for a replacement because of a manufacturing defect, and not as a result of mis-hits and/or misuse, we will ship a replacement back to you at no charge.
We reserve the right to refuse offering a replacement to any person who does not follow recommended product use and care. We reserve the right to fully inspect each broken bat to determine if a bat is eligible to receive a replacement, and will replace the bat(s) at our discretion.
