Catcher Mitt SIZING |

Most Popular Sizes: 32.5"- 33"
These gloves range in size from 31 inches to 34 inches. This isn't because they are three times the size of a normal glove, but rather because these mitts are measured by their circumference rather than top to bottom. Infield Youth Gloves: 9" - 11.5"
Outfield Youth Gloves: 10.5" - 12.5"
Youth gloves are recommended for younger players who have not stopped growing and are likely to outgrow their glove sooner rather than later. The age range of youth players is 12 years old and under. Because of the wide range in age, the sizes are going to have a larger range too. The difference with youth gloves is a smaller wrist opening and tighter finger stalls for a more secure fit on a youth player's hand. View our collection of Youth Baseball Gloves.
How is a glove measured? Fielders gloves and first base mitts are measured by starting at the top of the index finger of the glove down the finger along the inside of the pocket and then out to the heal of the glove. Lay the tape measure across the palm of the glove, so that it folds across and into the indenture, down to the heel of the glove. A catcher's mitt is measured by the circumference.

Review of Shoeless Joe catchers mitt
Glove looks very well made. The Leather is very stiff, which is to be expected with a New Glove, especially a Catchers mitt! My Grandson, aged 16, seems to love it, but it’s gonna take a while to break in!

Can't say enough good about this glove. Super well made, easy to adjust, padded really well, comfy, deep pocket and YES YES YES ready-to-go right out of the box without having to beat the glove for 2 weeks. Seriously the best catcher's mitt I've ever owned.

Easy and quick to break in. Great looking glove with quality leather and perfect size for adult. I have only used it for a month so I will be curious to see how it holds up.

Awesome right out of the box and awesome 5 years later. I caught in HS and now coach. I've caught 85 MPH fastball and felt nothing. My son took it over 14U and is still using in HS. I've spent $1000+ on catchers mitts and he still chooses this one.(Over his A2K and Rawlings Heart of the Hide) Buying a backup just in case. No breakdown in padding as others have said
