Diamond Machine Batting Practice Baseballs: DMBP

We have the inflatable tire machines and these balls worked very well. They've held up pretty well over the course of the last 6 weeks of use and we'll definitely make these the choice for league wide use next year.

We've been going through normal baseballs pretty regularly in our batting cage but these feed into the pitching machine better and last longer. I can't say enough about the product...unless Diamond offers me a job (haha) then I could say more.

Love these balls for the machine.

Best baseballs for a pitching machine IMHO. These launch really well out of my Junior Hack Attack pitching machine. The only complain I would have is they left more paint residue on my wheels than I expected. I only use these balls exclusively when I practice with my son one-on-one. This will give him the actual hitting a real baseball feel. I use the Baden dimpled pitching machine balls when I take the pitching machine for team practice so I can preserve these balls.

These Diamond pitching machine balls can't be trusted. Out of our two-wheel Atec M2 pitching machine, they tail to the left of the plate -- very dangerous for a lefty batter. It's much more difficult to place these Diamond balls in the strike zone consistently compared to regular, high-seam basealls. And these Diamond balls seem to come off the bat with less velocity. It can be difficult to tell if the hitter squared the ball up with power. I can't recommend these Diamond machine baseballs. The whole point of no-seam machine baseballs is to reduce variability in pitch location. These Diamond balls dramatically increase variability. They are less reliable than regular baseballs. For us, they are unuseable. We are relegating them to batting practice off the tee.
