Great!
I run a girl's fastpitch organization of 8 teams from 10U - 16U. We are using this product indoors and it is great for pitching, grounders, throwing and hitting. I have since purchased SOFTIE balls for a little less money and my pitchers said that they prefer the Diamond DFX. Note that Diamond also has a synthetic brand as well. It is a little cheaper but it's cover does not feel as much like leather. I think you could do a mix of the two and let the pitchers use the DFX brand.

The perfect indoor softball.
Ordered these for my daughter to use for inside pitching practice. They feel and act like a real softball but have give if it hits the wall of something else. The stitching is better than other brands so worth the price for pitchers. If you just want indoor balls for hitting you could go with the cheaper ones. Very good quality.

Some of these can last for a whole game or practice, but other split the first time they are hit.
