These gloves range in size from 31 inches to 34 inches. This isn't because they are three times the size of a normal glove, but rather because these mitts are measured by their circumference rather than top to bottom. Outfield Youth Gloves: 10.5" - 12.5"
Youth gloves are recommended for younger players who have not stopped growing and are likely to outgrow their glove sooner rather than later. The age range of youth players is 12 years old and under. Because of the wide range in age, the sizes are going to have a larger range too. How is a glove measured? Fielders gloves and first base mitts are measured by starting at the top of the index finger of the glove down the finger along the inside of the pocket and then out to the heal of the glove. Lay the tape measure across the palm of the glove, so that it folds across and into the indenture, down to the heel of the glove. A catcher's mitt is measured by the circumference.

Many years later, leather is still tough.
I didn't buy it here but I've had mine for 13 or 14 years now and it's still amazing. I coach baseball and play softball with it and it has held up (with good care of course). I use it a few times per week and have for all of this time. Leather still in great shape and the palm/pocket is still strong enough where hard thrown balls don't hurt. This is where I have seen other gloves show their age. The leather is still firm. I have re-laced it as that was all that needed to be replaced. Worth the investment.

This is a NICE glove & worth the $. This will definitely last several years for my son. I have a friend who used his from Little League 10yrs old all the way through Jr College baseball.

Nokona makes the best gloves.
This is my sons second Nokona glove. It was time to move up in size. We actually looked at less expensive gloves but ended up selecting Nokona again.
