Radar taken to the next level!!!!
Got to pilot this radar all summer long for my sons travel team, tested it side by side with the best radar guns and didn’t fail a single time on accuracy. Great tool for working on the throwing mechanics with instant feedback with velocity on the video. Also players are able to work velo off the mound or position with instant audio feedback from their phone. Data is captured on each pitch and able to download and track each mound appearance or bullpen session.

Best coaching tool ever!!
Just received the smart coach pocket radar last night and used it at my sons game today. I have to say I am really impressed with the ease of use and the accuracy. The app is a must for any coach. I have been coaching baseball for over 15 years and this has to be hands down the best coaching tool I have ever purchased. The data collected is key to making progress for any pitcher or hitter. The only improvement I would like to see is a rubberized case to protected against any accidental falls. Hopefully the folks at pocket radar are working on one. Other than that I would highly recommend this product.

I own a facility with four batting cages and recently purchased the coaches radar. I have my athletes down load the app to their phone so when they hit or throw all they have to do is connect to the radar which takes about 10 seconds. They get all the info via bluetooth sent to their phone. I had a girl softball pitcher come in last night who is a senior looking to pitch at college.. The video mode on the app is really nice.. takes a short video of her throwing and puts the velo number in the video and saves it to her picture app. So in about 5 minutes she had 50 or so throws saved to her phone... I think they are about 8 second clips.. Now she can send those to coaches. I have a tripod for the radar gun and phone. One thing I like for hitting is it shows the velo of the pitch and the exit velo all in the short video. I also found on the web page a conversion chart.. So the speed of the pitch and distance can relate to what it would be reactive time if you were at 60.5... My parents really like that.. All lot of them don't understand why short toss or shorter distance is an effective training tool I feel the money I spent was well worth it.

Great Device and a good price
We use this for your team practices during BP drills. It is setup in one cage so that a coach can throw BP or use a pitching machine and watch the exit velocity of the hitters. We use an old iPhone connected to a large tv to display. It also is helpful for tracking the progress the kids continue to make.

Truly an amazing product!
I myself, like to set up the iPad, and Smart Coach secured to the fence, and set up to record video. I love how it edits the video automatically for just each pitch. I no longer have to go through an hour of video, and edit just the pitches anymore!! (I was showing a Dad the video sync'd and then sent him the video right there at the field. He was blown away). I loaded iMovie on my iPad, and it is Super easy to pic the clips I want, assemble together, even add Slo-Mo and titles. So EASY!!!!!
