This bat was recommended to us by my daughters hitting coach. Now, coach is a Louisville man and will usually mumble under his breath about demarini so it was a surprise. He said that at the last national of the year his power hitter had her bat fail inspection. They had to scramble and ended up with the fnx. Blah blah blah first swing homerun. We arrived for hitting tonight and he had 34/24 waiting. Out of the wrapper it was really hot. We could smell the net burning when she hit into the screen. Looked great during front toss. I will update after a few hundred more hits and some live pitching. My first impression is really hot and probably best for girls that already smash.
Hot bat for the power hitter.
My daughter tried this bat out at her hitting lesson and the bat was hot right away. We walked out with a new bat that night. Can't wait till we get outside with it. She says it feels like her 2017 CF Insane that she absolutely loved. We have been on the search for a new bat since she had killed her CF and this is it.
Bought my daughter this bat last weekend and she used it for the second time in her middle school game last night and hit a dinger over center field. She was a little hesitant of it at 1st but I think she slept with it last night lol . Great bat and we are impressed with how it gave her that extra feet to put her 1st one over .
This bat is amazing. My daughter is 14. She loves this bat. Bat has more mass at the sweet spot, it is not completely balanced, but it is NOT end loaded. Once this bat is broken in balls jump off this bat. This bat does not sting the hands on contact. She has had this bat for four weeks. Durability is the same as the day of purchase. Bat needs some break in time. Bat is good out of the box, but needs break in time for optimal performance.
Very happy with the bat
Bought a 33/23 FNX for my daughter 3-4 months ago.. She's a second year 12u power hitter. This bat replaced a 2019 custom CF Zen in the same size, 33/23. Anyway, bat is advertised towards power hitters. As soon as I received the bat in May (?) I measured the weights and balance points with respect to the knob. I had assumed that power hitter bat = end loaded, but after measuring the distance from the end of the knob to the center of mass, the FNX balance point is closer to the knob than the CF Zen. I asked DM customer service, they said, it's not end loaded, it's "power balanced"... Who knows what that really means. As usual, DeMarini bat weights are right on the money, which is more that can be said about other bats, cough Ghost... Enough of the numbers mumbo jumbo. Daughter took her time transitioning over to the FNX. Her impressions were that it swings really nice, maybe a little lighter than the Zen. These are high end bats, exit velocities are all really good and close to each other across all brands. The bat seems to swing stiffer than the Zen. When she made the official move to the bat in a big tournament, ball had great pop. Most importantly, she has confidence in it and will continue to use it. Looks are amazing. Best looking bat IMO.
