So far so good
You can feel the quality of this bat and the results have been great. Increased bat speed and increased distance on hits. Of course this means more confidence at the plate. Cons: Price, however it seems the old saying is true. You get what you pay for.
Bought this bat for my 8 year old. She has been using the 28" zen. It feels REALLY light... she even thought it was made of plastic at first. It was a great way to step her up in size and weight without her noticing a difference. Her swing is quicker with this than the zen. Has great pop, a noticeable difference in her hits right out of the wrapper. Several girls on our travel team have used it the past few games and have noticed the difference. Of course they like the "loud" noise it makes as well...
I bought this at the beginning of fall season for my 11 y/o. It was her first season in 12u and this bat did not disappoint. Serious pop right out of the box and it has gotten even better throughout the season. I wasn’t enthused about spending that much dough, but I’m glad we did. Originally Posted on DeMarini.com

We felt is was more balanced that a Ghost, but it is not as easy to start than the CF line. The response, or hotness, was decent. We found the Ghost to be hotter. We find the older CF bats, CF9 in particular, to be significantly hotter and easier to start. We returned our Prism, and are sticking to CF9s - hotter, less initial swing resistance, better mechanics. Originally Posted on DeMarini.com
