Ranger Rover of Slowpitch Wood
this thing is beautiful. Swings like an mlb wood bat but i get to use it for softball. Great look and pop. My team wants them.
Man oh man
First off I want to say that this bat is amazing. When I received the package couldn't wait to open it up I felt like a kid on Christmas, when I did open it up I smiled ear to ear. This bat is GORGEOUS. The finish on the bat like sleek and amazing. I just stared at it for several minutes just in awe. I then took it outside to just give it a few swings to see how it felt and griping the handle felt odd for only a second just because it was so something I was familiar with but after the first swing my hands were in love and I was so excited to take this baby to the field. At practice i finally got to use the new bat. I fell even more in love with this bat. When you swing it feels right. The weight of the bat makes for a smooth swing. I'm at the plate waiting for my first pitch just buzzing with excitement. I swing...SMACK....Oooooooohhh that felt good.....SMACK....OH MY....SMACK....that sound is amazing.....SMACK....it feels so good....SMACK.....I've found my bat. Best bat I have ever purchased cant wait to use it again and again and again
Now that I have this bat, I can see why it was sold out last season. As advertised, the ergonomics of the handle are excellent and even only one game into the fall season, I know this bat will be my go-to going forward. Axe Bats make superior products. This is just one more example. (My only quibble is that the handle is finished with the same polyurethane-type finish that is on the barrel -- it makes for a slick handle -- but I'll be using a wrap grip to fix that.)
Well worth the money
I haven't had the bat long but I've already played in 4 games. Being a guy with a birth defect in my left hand (swing right), I've always been a singles hitter. Now the bat does not change that but it seriously gives me the control I needed. The bat has actually slowed my bat speed down and given me much more control to hit the ball with velocity. The handle is ideal. I decided not to wrap the handle but use a tiger stick instead. I seriously like how the handle is thin and I would highly recommend spending the money and owning an Axe bat.
